Frozen Food Revolution Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter
The Promoter is: British Frozen Food Federation, Warwick House, Unit 7, Long Bennington Business Park, Main Road, Long Bennington, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG23 5JR

2. The Competition

2.1 The title of the competition is Frozen Food Revolution.
2.2 The competition involves correctly answering the question on www.frozenfoodrevolution.co.uk/competition/ and submitting the answer, to have the chance to claim one of the two prizes, selected at random following the competition closing date from all eligible and correct entries.

3. How to Enter

3.1 The competition will run from Monday 9nd October 2023 1.00pm GMT until midnight on Friday 22nd March 2024.
3.2 In order to enter the competition you must answer the question on www.frozenfoodrevolution.co.uk/competition/ and submit your contact details via the entry form on the website.

3.3 All entries must be received by the Promoter through the competition link www.frozenfoodrevolution.co.uk/competition/ which will be shared across Frozen Food Revolution official social media channels. The link may also be accessed by scanning a QR code which the Promoter will make available. The link will be live from Monday 9th October 2023 1.00pm GMT until midnight on Friday 22nd March 2024.

3.4 Entries must be submitted in person only through the competition link www.frozenfoodrevolution.co.uk/competition/ and entries by post or other means will not be accepted. Entries will be void if they do not comply with these terms and conditions.

3.5 No purchase or other payment is required in order to enter the competition. For help with entries, please contact hello@frozenfoodrevolution.co.uk

3.6 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

3.7 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. Eligibility

4.1 The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of partner associations and organisations of British Frozen Food Federation;
(c) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(d) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk; or(c) illegible or incomplete.
4.4 Competition entries are limited to one per person. Entries over this maximum will be void and will not be entered in the competition.

5. The Prizes

5.1 The winning prizes are as follows:
(A) First prize – £500 of Farmfoods vouchers
(B) Runner up prize – £250 of Farmfoods vouchers
5.2 Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prize.
5.3 The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prizes with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
5.4 The prizes are not negotiable or transferable.

6. Selection of the Winner and Runner-up

6.1 The winners of the first and runner-up prizes will be the first and second entrants randomly selected by the Promoter following the closing date from all entries which have correctly answered the question on the www.frozenfoodrevolution.co.uk/competition/ page and have correctly submitted their entries in accordance with these terms and conditions.
6.2 The decisions of Promoter are final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.3 The Promoter will contact the winners personally as soon as practicable after the closing date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.

7. Claiming the Prize

7.1 If you are the winner of the first prize or runner up prize, you will have 28 days from the date you are contacted by the Promoter under paragraph 6.3 above to claim the prize by contacting us via e-mail at: hello@frozenfoodrevolution.co.uk. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid, and a new winner of the prize will be selected from the eligible entrants in accordance with paragraph 6.1. The new winner will also have 28 days to claim the prize in accordance with this paragraph.
7.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
7.3 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winners. If the winners cannot be contacted or are not available, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prizes to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the closing date.
7.5 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you fail to or are not able to take up the prize or redeem the vouchers.

8. Limitation of liability

While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the Promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the Promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the competition or which are caused by a third party.

10. Data Protection and Publicity

10.1 By entering this competition you agree to your personal information being used to process your entry, to contact you about your entry, and for the purpose outlined in paragraph 10.2 below. The Promoter will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and our privacy policy www.frozenfoodrevolution.co.uk/privacypolicy

10.2 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will make available the first name and county of the prize winner/s with the winners’ permission, once they have been contacted. This information will be made available for 90 days after the closing date and can be obtained by emailing hello@frozenfoodrevolution.co.uk.
10.3 If you object to any or all of your first name and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at hello@frozenfoodrevolution.co.uk or British Frozen Food Federation, Warwick House, Unit 7, Long Bennington Business Park, Main Road, Long Bennington, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG23 5JR before the closing date of the competition. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

11. General

11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
11.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.3 The laws of England and Wales apply to these terms and conditions, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country.
11.4 Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of another part of the UK in which you live.
11.5. This competition is not endorsed, sponsored or administered by Facebook, Instagram, (META), or TikTok.
