February was an exciting month for everybody involved with Fresh from the Freezer and the British Frozen Food Federation as we teamed up with leading blogger collective BritMums.
BritMums is a group that brings together leading lifestyle bloggers to form a community to share ideas and interests – involving lots of gorgeous photography and inspiring ideas.
We set BritMums bloggers the challenge of creating inventive recipes and blogging about them – with a catch. The main components of the respective dishes had to come from the freezer, showcasing that varied and adventurous dishes are just a freezers reach away.
The response was fantastic and a lot of the bloggers were amazed by the range and variety of ingredients out there. We received a total of 23 mouth-watering dishes from the frozen foodies with dishes ranging from fish pie and minted scallops, to Cumberland pie and Sunday roasts. We’ll be sharing these exciting recipes in the coming months.
Here are some of our favourite images, videos and recipes from the #CoolCookery challenge.
