The leaves are getting browner, the weather is getting chillier and the days are getting shorter. To help you fully settle into the autumn months, here are some useful tips for you and the family.

With less natural sunlight and opportunities to spend time outdoors, it’s important for the family to maintain vitamin intake. Making frozen smoothies that contain frozen fruit is a healthy way to start your day. Plus, by using frozen fruit you don’t need ice cubes for a nice cold smoothie!

Give the kids something to look forward to with a fun kitchen activity on Friday.

Here is a quick and easy meal idea that the kids can help with and get creative.

Plan your meals in advance

Sticking to a plan stops you coming home from the supermarket with too much food, but no real idea of what you are going to cook. Planning won’t just cut back on waste; it will save you a lot of time and money as well!

Write a list of what’s in your freezer
